Ang Lee is a Taiwanese-American film director, screenwriter, and producer. Lee began his career making films in Taiwan before gaining international recognition with his film The Wedding Banquet (1993), which won the Golden Bear. He continued to make critically acclaimed films such as Sense and Sensibility (1995) and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) which won four Academy Awards.
